1. Snake Island

Humans are forbidden from stepping foot on this island for obvious reasons. According to scientists, roughly 4000 snakes live on this 110-acre land. And these aren’t just any snakes, but the golden lancehead, which is the deadliest and the most venomous viper in the world.

2.Area 51

Situated in Nevada, this is probably one of the most secretive places in the world. A military base, what this place is actually used for nobody knows. But the speculations range from medical experiments, experimental aircraft and weaponry to UFO and alien testing.

3.Pine Gap, Australia

While the implications of a discrete desert location able to monitor the world is scary, the events of Pine Gap are fictionalized likely because the goings-on of the real Pine Gap facility are so secretive that it is not entirely known what happens inside the facility.

4.Metro 2, Moscow

underground metro system which parallels the public Moscow Metro. It was built by Joseph Stalin and was code-named D-6 by the KGB. It is supposedly still operated by the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The length of Metro-2 is rumored to exceed that of the public Metro and it is said to connect the Kremlin with other locations of national importance. The FSB or the Moscow Metro administration refuse to confirm or deny its existence to this very day.

5.Poveglia Island

Poveglia remains for now strictly off-limits to visitors.

The Italian island of Poveglia has a history chock-full of tragic events going back thousands of years. During the Roman Empire, the island was used to house victims of the plague in order to protect the rest of the country.
