Albert Lincoln Roker Jr. is a weather presenter, journalist, television celebrity, and author from the United States. On NBC, the reporter currently hosts 3rd Hour Today and serves as the show’s weather anchor. His American Meteorological Society Television Seal #238 is no longer operational.

Roker broke the Guinness World Record by reporting for 34 hours at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time in 2014. On December 14, 2018, NBC honored him for his 40 years of service in the Today segment.

Albert was born in 1954, on 20th August. His birthplace is Queens, New York City, in the United States. His mother was Isabel, and his father was Albert Lincoln Roker Senior. Isabel had Jamaican ancestry ground. Albert was of Bahamian descent and earned his living as a birth driver. Isabel practised the Catholic faith, which was adopted by his son Lincoln.

Roker’s first interest was in cartoons.Albert Roker went to Xavier High School based in Manhattan. In the school, Roker involved himself in many projects related to cartooning and illustration as he was a member of a concerned club. From Xavier High School, Albert moved to the State University of New York in a branch at Oswego. He studied and completed it in 1976.

In 1984 Roker got his first sweetheart named Alice Bell, a producer on WNBC. The couple had good times for a decade and in 1994 Roker and Deborah Roberts got married. Deborah Roberts was Roker’s colleague in journalism and was a reporter for ABC and NBC.

Their encounter was in 1990 when Deborah found a place in NBC for a reporting position. Roker has a family of three children comprising two daughters Leila and Courtney, and one son Nicholas Albert.
