Authorities revealed a development in the case of Allahnia Lenoir, who vanished after making a 911 call on August 1st, at a news conference on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Atlanta Police Major Peter Malecki, “At this time, we have accumulated enough evidence to establish that Allahnia was murdered and that her corpse was disposed of.”

Diante Reynolds, 29, and Steven Oboite, 29, have arrest warrants from Fulton County on suspicion of criminal murder and concealing another person’s death. Reynolds was previously detained in Conyers, Georgia, and returned to Fulton County Jail.

But police are requesting assistance from the public and the media in finding Oboite. Malecki stated that the Atlanta metropolitan area is still a possibility for Oboite to be located at this time.

The recovery of Allahnia’s remains and bringing comfort to her bereaved family are our ultimate goals, Malecki said, adding that detectives were still working to identify a possible motive. One of our hopes is that we will learn that during this second round of interrogation and be able to return the woman to her family.

Malecki claimed that within the first 24 hours of the case, the missing person unit had located Lenoir’s last known location using technology and camera data. She was last seen early on July 31 at an apartment in Midtown with the address 1616 Peach Tree St. She was missing, and investigators did suspect foul play.

“We were aware that she never left 1616 Peach Street on her own volition. She may have been moved to an unknown location after passing away within the flat, according to Malecki. “Without success, we carried out a number of manual searches in places where technology evidence suggested Allahnia might be found. Cadaver dogs, homicide detectives, and entire police recruit courses were all used to our advantage.

Malecki claimed that the suspects and the victim had a “relationship” or “connection” before to the murder but chose not to elaborate due to the ongoing investigation.
