Nigerian investigative journalist Babajide Otitoloju concurs with the PDP presidential hopeful that many people in the north do not use social media. Atiku Abubakar made this claim in an interview, and many Nigerians disagreed with him, referring to it as his claim that people in the north lack social literacy.
This can be seen in the INEC complete data that was received, according to Babajide Otitoloju, who concurs with him, and it appears that the northwest takes the lead with the most registers.
Babajide asserts that the north is more politically conscious than the south, and that they can only achieve this by listening to the radio. The North is constantly learning about its surroundings through the medium of radio, whereas the South is not.
He claimed that the social media platform is another another tool for raising awareness, particularly among young people, yet many social media users do not cast ballots, StechiteGist Media Gathered.

He claimed that Atiku was telling the truth when he said that many of his supporters in the north do not use social media, and that he wasn’t making fun of them.
