Dominican-born Benito Antonio Martnez Ocasio, also known as Bad Bunny, was born.

He is a well-known Puerto Rican rapper and vocalist who categorizes his music as reggaeton and Latin trap. While he also mixed in other genres, such as rock, bachata, and soul, he is best known for his deep, slurred voice and his unique sense of style.

Additionally, throughout his career, the singer has collaborated with performers like J Balvin, Farruko, Residente, Arcángel, Jhay Cortez, Daddy Yankee, and Rosala.

While working as a grocery bagger and attending the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo, the rapper rose to fame on SoundCloud and eventually signed with a record label.

He gained fame in late 2016 after the release of his breakthrough song, “Soy Peor,” and his collaboration with Cardi B and Drake on the songs “I Like It” and “Mia,” which peaked at No. 1 and No. 5 on the US Billboard Hot 100, respectively.

Bunny, who is now 28 years old, was born on March 10, 1994, under the sign of the Pisces in Almirante Sur, Puerto Rico. He is Dominican because his father is from the nation’s capital, Santo Domingo.

He is also of American and Puerto Rican nationality and claims Puerto Rican ethnicity. The vocalist weighs 75 kg and stands at a height of 5’6″.

Additionally, he began writing and producing his interpretations when he was 14 years old till 2013. The next year, in 2013, he released Get through SoundCloud, followed by Tentacion in 2014 and Just let me know in 2015.
When the rapper was a bagger at Supermercados Econo in Vega Baja in 2016, he released his music as a solo artist on SoundCloud. In a similar vein, DJ Luian was drawn to his song and signed him to his record company, Hear this Music.

When DJ Luian introduced Bad Bunny to the Mambo Kingz production crew, they were enthralled by her musical innovation and appearance.

In the Puerto Rican community of Vega Baja, Bad was born and reared by his parents, Lysaurie Ocasio and Tito Martinez.

In addition, his mother Lysaurie was a teacher and his father Tito was a truck driver. While Bad Bunny assisted Ocasio with housework, she listened to songs like Juan Gabriel’s “Abrazame muy Fuerte,” merengue, and salsa.

He proclaimed that he had a nice upbringing and that he didn’t grow up hanging around on the streets but preferred to spend time with his family at home.

His mother was a devoted Catholic who sung in the church choir, so he went to church with her.

Similar to how his father wanted him to become a baseball player, his mother Lysauire wanted him to become an engineer, and a teacher predicted that he would become a firefighter.

Additionally, after quitting the choir and doing his first solo performance in a middle school talent contest in Juanes’s song “Mala Gente,” he develops an interest in the musicians he overheard on the radio, particularly Daddy Yankee and Héctor Lavoe.

With his two brothers Bysael and Bernie Martnez Ocasio, Bunny grew up in a secure lower-middle-class family of devout Catholics. Bysael is 20 years old, while his brother Bernie is 25.
