Abudullahi Iyanda Muraina, a retired major general in the Nigerian armed forces, has passed away.

The officer, who was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, passed away on Friday in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. However, Stechitegist Media learnt the cause of his death is yet to be made public.

After receiving an early Koranic education, the Aare Ajagundola of Iseyinland and honorary life member of the prestigious Ibadan Recreation Club went on to complete his primary and secondary schooling at the Islamic Mission School, Odoye Ibadan, and the Nigerian Military School, Zaria, respectively, from 1972 to 1976.

Between 1976 and 1978, he attended the Polytechnic Ibadan for his Advanced Level studies. I attended the University of Lagos for my Bachelor’s degree and then the University of Ilorin for my Master’s.
