At least 22 senators who are currently members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) may defect to the PDP, the main opposition party.
Femi Fani-Kayode, a leader in the ruling APC, announced this.
The Senators are threatening to leave the PDP since they haven’t been given tickets to return to the Senate, according to a statement posted on Fani-verified Kayody’s Twitter account on Wednesday.
He said, “This is serious, and we need to do something to stop it. Many people are worried, thus we implore our competent National Chairman and the National Secretary to contact them. Losing them is not an option for us. It might interest you to read Nigerian students in more trouble as NASU and SSANU extend strike by two months
