The head of Pixar Animation Studios and well-known animator Ralph Eggleston tragically passed away on August 28, 2022, after a protracted fight with pancreatic cancer.

Many friends and coworkers offered their condolences to the animator’s family and honored Ralph by mentioning some of his exceptional early works.

Ralph Eggleston, who was 56 years old, went suddenly as a result of health problems. He was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana on October 18, 1965.

Eggleston started working with Pixar on the first Toy Story movie in 1992, and as a result, he was honored with an Annie Award for Best Art Direction. Since then, the animator has worked on various other animated features and programs.

His biggest works include WALL-E, Inside Out, Finding Nemo, and Toy Story, but he has also worked with Disney as an art director on a number of renowned animated movies, including Aladdin, The Lion King, A Bug’s Life, and Cars.
