Joey DeFrancesco, a jazz musician, passed away suddenly at the age of 51. Being so young, the news of his passing stunned everyone, especially his friends and family.
The truth that Joey is dead is still being accepted by his loved ones. He occasionally sang in addition to being a fantastic jazz trumpeter, organist, and saxophone.
His wife, Gloria DeFrancisco, who is also a singer and worked as his manager, is still alive. Previously, she was in charge of all of his media and PR. The couple were hitched in 2011 and recently celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary, during which Joey shared a touching message for Gloria.
He (Joey) is fortunate to be in the company of such a remarkable woman (Gloria), according to the message. Spending the last ten years of his life with her was more than just good; it was great. She is amazing in every way. The pair was also questioned about their plans in 2019 by a Philadelphia-based magazine.
Joey was born in 1971 in Springfield, Pennsylvania. He inherited a natural talent for music from his three generations of musical ancestors, meaning he was born into a musical family.
His grandpa was a jazz musician who also played the saxophone and clarinet, and he was given the name Joseph DeFrancesco as a baby.
At the age of four, he began his musical journey, and by the time he was five, he was able to perform the songs of Jimmy Smith with great accuracy.
The cause of Joey’s abrupt death, which occurred on August 25, is unknown; although many of his followers are interested in learning the cause, we do not currently have any information about it.
