Where Is Konerak Sinthasomphone Brother Anouke Sinthasomphone Now?
Anouke Sinthasomphone, Konerak Sinthasomphone’s brother, spoke out to the media after he and his brother were attacked by Jeffrey Dahmer. The 14-year-old was invited to Dahmer’s flat on May 27, 1991, to pose for photographs. Dahmer photographed the boy, who was only wearing his underwear, and later drugged him. The boy’s frontal lobe was then injected with hydrochloric acid after Dahmer drilled a hole in his skull.
He drank alongside the unconscious Sintasomphone for a while. After some time, he allegedly left the house in search of more alcohol. When he returned to his flat, he discovered Sinthasomphone naked on the streets, surrounded by three perplexed women. After seeing the boy, the women Sandra Smith, Tina Spivey, and Nicole Childress dialed 911. When officers Gabrish and Balcerzak arrived on the scene, they saw Dahmer standing next to Sinthasomphone.
When asked about the situation, Dhamer revealed that the boy was his 19-year-old boyfriend, who was in that state due to intoxication. Despite the fact that one of the women tried to intervene after seeing the boy’s injuries, the officers let Dahmer take the boy inside his apartment, citing that it was a domestic matter. Jeffrey pumped more hydrochloric acid into Konerak’s head. His body was dismembered, and the head was kept frozen.
The family had encountered the serial killer not once, but twice. Jeffrey attacked one of Konerak’s brothers, Somsack Sinthasomphone, less than two years before his murder. At the time, Anouke Sinthasomphone was 27 years old. His father’s name is Sounthone, and his mother’s name is Somdy. The family consisted of five sons and three daughters. They had fled Laos in March 1979 after communists threatened to take over their rice farm in a village near the Laotian capital of Vientiane. The older children were already accustomed to American culture and spoke English fluently. According to the New York Times, some of the family’s eldest children worked as welders, machinists, or assembly line workers at the time. Anouke had spoken to the media at the time, but his current whereabouts are unknown. He’s probably in his 50s now.
