Sweeney was born in Spokane, Washington, on September 12, 1997. Her mother is a lawyer, and her father is a physician. Trent is her brother. Sweeney grew up in northwestern Idaho in the state’s Panhandle region near the Washington border, in a rural lakeside home her family has lived in for five generations.
Sweeney went to Saint George’s School in Spokane and was involved in a variety of sports: “I was in every single sport possible,” she said. “I was on the soccer team, baseball team, snow slalom ski team, and wakeboarding team.” Sweeney also studied multiple languages and graduated with honors.
