Concerned questions about how social media users can consume and spread information without investigating the material’s source have been raised in response to an intense rumor about the extension of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower initiative.

It should be reminded that the names of the Stream 1 candidates who were successfully shortlisted were released for fingerprint and biometric verification and would expire on June 6, 2021. Npower management made it clear at the commencement of the Npower batch C program that the Npower 2020 program would only last one year.

Beneficiaries of the Npower batch C stream 1 Program started working in September 2021 after the program’s August 2021 introduction. This indicates that the batch C1 program will end in September 2022.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government is considering extending the N-Teach Batch C Stream 1 N-Power beneficiaries’ eligibility, which was set to expire on September 30, 2022, according to a statement from the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.

Numerous errors were made in the Npower Batch C1 Extension announcement since the author solely targeted the recipients of the Batch C stream 1 Npower program and left them to wallow in their own illusions.

Recall that the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Program officially began operations in September, and that stipend payments began in September of the following year. As a result, the program officially ends in August of the following year due to its 12-month design.

The Batch C Stream 1 Npower Program expires in August 2022, according to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, via Nneka Ikem Anibueze, SA to the Minister for Media and Publicity.

“The beneficiaries of Batch C of Npower were split into C1 and C2 streams. Having completed the program for 12 months as of this August 2022, Batch C1 was deployed in September 2021.

The FEC-approved NASIMS platform, which allows each recipient to view the reasons for payment and non-payment owing to truancy or transaction failure, is used in the payment system, which is transparent and verifiable.

The physical verification process for the batch C2 pre-selected applicants was completed with the help of one of our strategic partners (NYSC).

According to Mrs. Anibueze, “the deployment process started on August 1st for 490,000 recipients to fill the space of one million N-POWER beneficiaries.”

The Npower Management has insisted on the 31st August 2022 leave date through its official handles, noting that it would notify the general public if there was any chance of the Npower Batch C Stream 1 Extention.

No formal comment regarding the extension of Batch C Stream 1 of the Npower Program or the inclusion of any category in the program has yet been made by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development through its Official and Department Handles.
