How did Ricardo Cruciani die?

Ricardo Cruciani is a notorious neurologist who has been found guilty of 12 counts. Two weeks after he was found guilty of a crime, his body was found in a shower at Rikers Island. Soon after Cruciani was about to be found guilty, his lawyer put him on a suicide watch.

According to the New York Times, he was found in the jail shower with a sheet around his neck on Monday morning. Even though the medical team got there to help him, he died after being found an hour later.
