Video of Lil Durk performing “Back in Blood” at the 2022 Lollapalooza festival in Chicago went viral on Saturday (July 30). Suddenly, he appears to be struck in the face by two onstage fireworks.
A large bomb detonates in front of Durk as he crosses the stage in the video, followed by another cloud of smoke that strikes him in the face.
Lil Durk trips over himself and raises his T-shirt to blot his eyes. The Chicago rapper then looks to leave the stage, but he swiftly circles back and cries out, “Who wants smoke?” to the crowd. When Nardo Wick’s “Who Want Smoke?” starts playing, Durk is ready to deliver his verse from the song he made with Nardo.
Lil Durk, who was injured by two onstage explosives while performing at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago on Saturday, took to Instagram on Sunday (July 31) to update his followers on his condition.
The 29-year-old rhymer uploaded a photo of himself in the hospital with a bandage over his right eye and a face mask.
I’m going to take a vacation & concentrate on my health due to the situation that occurred at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage,” he stated in the description. “I completed my show for my fans yesterday. I value you all.
