The Federal Road Safety Corps claims that the incident happened early on Saturday morning in front of the Total petrol station on the Sagamu/Ijebu-ode Expressway (FRSC).

After the sad occurrence, traffic was reduced to one lane, according to Florence Okpe, FRSC’s spokesman in Ogun State.

Okpe further stated that firefighters were ready to intervene in case of emergency.

“The Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun Sector Command desires to warn the driving public about the collision that occurred this morning, involving a tanker with no registration number on it,” she said.

“The car, which was carrying PMS in full capacity and lost control due to excessive speed, crashed into a ditch.

There are firefighters on the scene. To be safe and prevent a second crash, the area was sealed off. The opposite lane has been blocked off for traffic. Operatives from the FRSC are actively controlling the traffic situation on the ground.

Drivers are urged to use caution and work with traffic controllers to manage the situation.
