Muhammadu Yahaya, the governor of Gombe State, expressed his condolences to the people of Bajoga, Funakaye Local Government Area, who were devastated by a devastating flood during a torrential rainstorm.

As Yahaya conveyed his condolences to the family of a little child who died as a result of the flood, he also sympathized with those who were injured or lost their homes and other valuables.

At the request of Governor Abdullah Saleh, the governor “ordered” the state’s environmental ministry, emergency management agency and local authorities to “immediately step in” and “evaluate devastation in impacted areas” to “comfort the victims” and “minimize their suffering.”
