The late Yinka Odumakin’s father, Ezekiel Odumakin, was the spokesperson for the Yoruba socio-cultural organisation Afenifere.

The elder Odumakin passed away on Monday at the age of 116, according to a statement put on Facebook by the widow of his late son, Joe Okei-Odumakin.

“Pa Odumakin translates at age 116,” she remarked. The tree comes after the seed…

“The father of Comrade Yinka Odumakin passed away yesterday evening at 5.30 p.m. at the age of 116.”
The elderly man and Okei-Odumakin, according to Okei-Odumakin, spoke earlier in the day and engaged in some family-related conversation and a brief prayer.
In addition to serving as the family patriarch, dad served as the family’s unifying force, as she stated.

The activist stated that Elder Ezekiel Abioye Odumakin had served as the Baba Ijo of C.A.C. Moro land “until his departure on today,” and that other announcements will be made as the family sees right.

On April 2, 2021, Okei-husband Odumakin’s passed away at the age of 54.
