The Ondo State Security Network Agency, often called Amotekun, received 20 motorcycles from Federal House of Representatives member Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as part of his commitment to help the state combat insecurity.

Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency’s federal member stated he was determined to working with the state’s government to eradicate insecurity.

It was on Tuesday that the Chairman of the House Committee on the Niger Delta Development Commission, Mrs. Yinka Tunji-Ojo, in Oke Agbe, the capital of the Akoko North-West Local Government Area of the state, gifted the motorcycles.

According to him, the move was also intended to support the state government’s attempts to improve the state’s security infrastructure.

A mechanism to efficiently and pro-actively tackle criminal activity across the state’s 18 local government districts would not be created, he said.

After donating four cars to the Nigerian Police Force, Tunji-Ojo claimed he will do more to protect his people and the communities around them.
