They have been so many reactions and questions if school will be resuming on September 2020, but the truth is that there is no formal announcement saying schools will resume on September 2020.
As there’s no official announcement, there have been indications that school might resume on September
Why do we (Stechitegist) say so?
We’ve been keeping in touch with updates as regards resumption and so far these are the possible reasons why school might resume soon
- In a bid to end the ongoing Strike, the Academic Staff Union of universities (ASUU) said they are ready to resume negotiation with the Federal Government.
- National Universities Commission (NUC) directed all VC’s to ascertain Level of Preparedness for Safe Reopening of Varsities. Some schools like UNILORIN have indicated that they are ready to resume.
- Over 10,000 COVID-19 patients were discharged few days ago. This seems to be a relief in the country.
To ease our anxiety, we just assumed that schools might reopen September or October 2020.
Don’t forget there’s no official announcement for school resumption.
