Jackie Walorski, 58, a lawmaker from Indiana’s 2nd congressional district, passed away in an accident in Elkhart County.
The politician, who was born on August 17, 1963, has served as Indiana’s 2nd congressional district’s U.S. Representative since 2013. She is a member of the Republican Party and represented Indiana’s 21st district in the House of Representatives from 2005 to 2010.
In Indiana’s 2nd congressional district, Walorski won the Republican primary in 2010, but Democratic incumbent Joe Donnelly narrowly defeated him in the general election. Furthermore, Walorski took over the post in 2012 after Donnelly resigned to pursue a U.S. Senate bid. According to the sources gathered by Stechitegist Media, she died in the collision together with Zachery Potts and Emma Thompson. Both the driver and two occupants of the car that was traveling southbound on State Road 19 died as well. Northward movement was being made by the car.

In 1995, Walorski married Dean Swihart, a teacher from Mishawaka. She resided in Jimtown, an unincorporated community west of Elkhart, and attended South Gate Church, a South Bend Assemblies of God megachurch.
Walorski was born in South Bend, Indiana, and was raised with her two older brothers in the city’s Gilmer Park area.
The politician came from a household of middle class, and her mother, Martha C., was a meat cutter at a nearby supermarket. Her father, Raymond B. Walorski, on the other hand, ran an appliance store and worked as a firefighter.
The Indiana delegate was of Polish and German descent.
When she was younger, she attended Hay Elementary School and graduated from Riley High School in 1981. She then spent 1981–1983 at Liberty Baptist College before completing her BA in communications and public administration at Taylor University in 1985.
