Mncedisi Shabangu, a South African actor, is best known for his role as Khulekani in the e.tv soap opera Rhythm City. Previously, he was well-known for his role as Skhumbuzo in the second season of the SABC3 drama series The Lab in 2008.

Shabangu’s breakthrough performance came in Gordon Motha’s Secret Agenda in 1992. In 1995, he enrolled as a student at The Market Theatre Laboratory. Ways of Dying in 1999, Call us Crazy in 2000, and Orpheus in 1998 were among his other stage appearances.

He won the FNB Vita Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in Call Us Crazy.He also won the Fleur du Cap award and the KKNK award for best actor for Tshepang, a story about the rape of a nine-month-old girl in Louisvaleweg, Northern Cape.
