Neymar will be tried in October for alleged transfer violations, judicial sources revealed Wednesday.

The Brazilian international, his parents, and former Barcelona presidents Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu will be tried for alleged corruption in 2013 transfer.

Rosell and Bartomeu face fraud accusations in their October 17-31 trial.

Neymar left Barcelona for PSG in 2017 for a world-record 222 million euros, although his journey from Santos to Barca remains controversial.

Brazilian group DIS, the former owner of some of the player’s rights, filed a complaint.

Barcelona said the sale cost $57.1 million, with 40 million going to Neymar’s family and 17.1 million to Santos, but Spanish prosecutors alleged it cost at least $83.3 million.

The DIS, which received 6.8 million of the 17.1 million euros given to Santos, claims Barca and Neymar disguised the real transfer cost.
