Victor Umeh the former national leader of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), and the current senatorial ticket holder of the labor Party, has urged president Muhammadu Buhari, to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), stating that his detention has caused insecurities in the South-East.
He made this statement while on interactive section with Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) in Awka, Anambra State on Tuesday.
According to him, both genuine and fake agitators claim to be fighting for the IPOB leader, and he believes that the Federal Government should engage in constructive discussion with IPOB as a means of resolving the conflict.

“The only way to address the issue is through dialogue between the government and IPOB,” he declared. I agree that this administration is working to find a political solution to the South East’s insecurity. “The Federal Government should implement appropriate conflict resolution methods.”
The future of Nigeria would be considered in the 10th Senate, he emphasized, pleading with Nigerians to send their best representatives. Nigeria needs everything that will make it work.
