The Osun Government emphasized the significance of the PVC to the discharge of their civic duty in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji.

“The Administration of Osun State understands the importance of employees in the democratic process and is conscious that the only way workers can give life to their goal for a worker-friendly government is through their ballots,” the statement said, in part.

The government does not want anyone to be denied the chance to exercise their fundamental right, especially as it may have an impact on their long-term wellbeing and future security.

In order to allow all public and civil personnel to pick up their PVC and fulfill their civic duty, Friday, June 24, has been proclaimed a work-free day in all state government offices, according to the announcement.
