Saheed Taiwo, a self-declared Black Axe confraternity head also known as Aiye, was taken into custody by the police in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun state.

The 27-year-old Saheed admitted how he and his group slaughter the competing cult, chopping their hands and using them as a form of defense against being apprehended by the police.

He claimed, “He cannot claim he has killed any as an individual because they operated in a group, but his group has killed so many individuals that he can no longer even recall the number.”

Our leaders would order us to execute a large number of the assailant, the opposing organization that had murdered our members, in order to exact revenge. He continued He said that his gang was behind the assassination of Tommy, the opposing group’s leader, who was assassinated in Panseke a few months earlier.

Although Taiwo made it clear that he did not accompany them in their murder of Tommy, the assailants told him that they thoroughly macheted the victim before shooting him with an AK-47 to ensure his death.

He also related an occasion when the other organization murdered one of their own, Stechitegist media reports. They follow one of the river group members who performed that work to Lafenwa, a neighborhood in Abeokuta.

We traveled to Lafenwa on the day we carried out the rephrase attack on him. He was slain after we fished him out. Later, we used our axe to cut off his hand and took it with us to the location where we would perform the protection charm.

On the other hand, the police have sworn to track down the gangs that eluded them during the arrest and make sure we are brought to justice.
