Nigerian singer Portable fired the people who worked in his Zeh Nation studio when he wasn’t there because they weren’t making enough money.
The Zazuu star wrote on his Instagram page that the workers only made N7,000 during the time he was on tour in Europe, which was just over a month.
In a video he posted, Portable said he asked the people who worked in his studio to leave because they wouldn’t blow and only wanted his money. He wondered if it was wrong for him to give them jobs because he wanted to help.
Portable says that he can make up to N15 million in 5 days from his studio, so it was very disappointing to hear that his studio workers only made N7k while he was gone.
He said, “I changed the name of my studio, but the people I hired wouldn’t blow. I built a studio, but they didn’t give me my money, so they stole it.”
“Studio people say that every time I record, I make 2 or 3 million naira, and that in 5 days I can make 15 million naira. But when I went on vacation and came back, they told me that they only make 7,000 naira.
The video was captioned, “Stop Dreaming About Your Boss and Think About Yourself.” Don’t understand how helping someone becomes a crime… I can’t believe people are saying bad things about my record label. People have helped me in so many ways. But God… We Keep Going… We’re not going to stop ZEH Nation to de World”
