Dow’s family later stated that he was doing well, staying motivated, and doing his best to remain optimistic about his treatments.In late May, the actor sent out an update to his fans, writing, “I’m starting Immunotherapy, and it appears to be working.” I can now get up and walk without assistance, and I’m getting better every day.”
The news uplifted his friends, family, and fans because the actor appeared to be improving with his treatment. On July 21, Tony’s management team provided an update, stating that the actor and his family have been facing numerous challenges, including his health, which has seen him in and out of the hospital for treatment, and thanked everyone for their heartfelt prayers.
On July 26, his management confirmed his death following a long battle with his disease. He lived an extraordinary life, leaving a legacy and fighting for his life until his last breath like the brave soul that he is.
