VIRAL VIDEO: Footage as airplane develops problem until it crashed south of Dallas Executive Airport

A plane seen by StechiteGist Media having issues were captured on camera in a viral video that was shot south of Dallas Executive Airport.

However, Dallas Fire Department is responding to a jet collision that occurred close to Dallas Executive Airport.

Short of the runway, a small plane went down in a rural area close to Dallas Executive Airport.

According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, reports of a small plane accident near the 7300 block of Christie Lane arrived at around 2:37 p.m. The flight originated from Arlington Municipal Airport and went to Dallas Executive.

The only person in the aircraft was the pilot, who is conscious and alert but whose injuries have not yet been identified. He has been hauled out of the aircraft and is now being transported to a nearby hospital.

A DFR official reported that the fuel bladder of the aircraft was undamaged, and no structures were harmed in the collision.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation, however according to the FAA, the pilot reported an engine problem before the crash.
