Pastor Poju Oyemade Controversy
Poju Oyemade demanded justice after Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA was accused of rape by Busola Dakolo. He expressed his grief and sympathy for her. Additionally, he requested that the authorities Biodun Fatoyinbo was under take action and that efforts be done to stop the suffering of the church.
Also, the followers of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, have leveled harsh criticism at Poju Oyemade, a Senior Pastor and the Founder of The Covenant.
After the cleric tweeted a tweet that many assumed was meant towards Obi, the criticisms started.
The youthful zeal, in Oyemade’s opinion, shouldn’t be squandered on ill-conceived ventures, StechiteGist Media reports.
He also tweeted that Jesus said that “no man goes to battle without taking stock first nor laying the foundation of a tower”.
The political arguments that Obi won’t win the 2023 presidential election because he lacks “political framework” prompted the tweets
Pastor Poju avoided mentioning Obi’s name, but the Labour Party’s presidential candidate’s followers found offense in his remarks.
And after receiving criticism, the cleric deleted his tweets.
