Sen. Uba Sani, who represents Kaduna Central Senatorial District and is running for governor under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has responded to the rumor that he and Sen. Sulaiman Abdu Kwari co-sponsored a measure in the Senate that would have created Zazzau State out of Kaduna State.
The legislator called the accusations “patently false” in a brief statement that he personally signed.
How “mischievous people may let their imaginations run riot, all in an effort to discredit their political opponent” is what he questioned.
Because he “has acquired the complete support of the people and is the man to beat in the 2023 governorship elections in Kaduna State,” he said that the accusations were manufactured by his political rivals.
The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is on recess, according to Sani. The Senate has no similar bill on its agenda. Statehood requests are often brought before the Committee for Constitutional Review.
Security authorities must conduct an investigation into the report because it was created by destabilization agents. To serve as a deterrence to others, those responsible for this subversive act must be brought to justice.
He claimed that his main priority is assuring his win in the 2023 elections for governor of Kaduna State.
“I am entirely focused on making last adjustments to crafting successful tactics to achieve our victory in the governorship elections in 2023. In order to gain their feedback, we have also been discussing our plan for Kaduna State with important stakeholders.
The start of the campaigns is scheduled for September 2022. No amount of bad schemes will be able to stop us from achieving our objectives. Because our people are educated and aware of the plots of anti-development forces, their plans would continue to fail, he stressed.
